I am a PhD candidate in International History and Politics the Geneva Graduate Institute (expected completion date: fall 2025). My research is on contested and competing narratives of mass violent death in the Middle East, with a specific focus on contemporary history in the Levant. and Iraq
I have also been undertaking research and analysis of the Middle East for the past five-plus years. I have worked for policy think-tanks, NGOs, academic research centers, tech companies, and consulting firms focusing on current events, and historical trends in the region.
I speak English, Italian, and French, and I have proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and experience in Levantine dialect. I have a BA from Georgetown in Government, Arabic, and Justice and Peace Studies, and an MSc from the London School of Economics in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies.
